Based on Polish custom knifemaker Marcin Slysz’ incredibly popular “Mouse 3” folder, the third-generation expression of the Techno continues the evolution of this compact, workhorse design.

This new 3rd generation Techno model C158TIP, has a clean satin finished blade that is made of CTS XHP steel. The blade is a flat grind where-as the 2nd generation has a sabre grind. The standard gray titanium handle as per usual. The pocket clip is machined titanium which is a jump from the wire clip of the Techno 2 and is made for right-handed tip-up carry only. Then, instead of the standard thumb-hole opening of the usual spyderco knives, they put a flipper tab combined with ball bearing pivot washers, a steel interface/overtravel stop on the Reeve Integral Lock (R.I.L.) mechanism.
