The USA-made Runt 5 by Pro-Tech has got to be one of the hardest hitting sub-2" bladed push button automatic folders on the market. With a recessed push button, a slight but calculated depress gives releases all the tension that your blade needs to come absolutely flying out of the handle scales. A favorite for those living in blade length restricted areas, the Runt 5 is an automatic pocket knife with tons of capabilities without breaking the bank or scaring the non-knife nerds around you. 

This model of the Runt 5, R5405 comes newly equipped with a CPM Magnacut stainless steel blade. Beloved for its incredible corrosion resistance while scoring well in all other blade properties, Magnacut is one of 2023's go-to pocket knife steels. This guy also has a bit of a handle upgrade, with texturing all over the 6061-T6 aluminum scales. The blade is a standard stonewash while the handle has been given a black anodization.
