The standard for most other out the front automatic knives on the market, the Microtech Ultratech sits upon the top of the Mount Rushmore of OTF’s. Since 1999, Microtech has been pumping out Ultratech’s and this has allowed people from all walks of life to try their hands (and pockets) at an out the front pocket knife. The sliding firing button allows the blade to fire in and out of the chassis quickly and automatically, while Microtechs proprietary design allows the firing spring to rest in either open or closed positions, reducing wear and expanding the life span of your knife. The smooth, contoured handle is provenly ergonomic and looks snazzy, too. Adjusted and improved throughout the past two decades plus, the Ultratech is the foundation of the Microtech OTF line and has proven to be reliable to an everyday blade user. Part of Microtech’s Signature Series Star Wars collection, the knives dubbed" "Sandtrooper" are some of our favorites. With white sandy-brown distressing all over, these guys are the Stormtrooper tossed around the desert. The 6061-T6 aluminum handle chassis has a deep-engraved logo which adds to the flair of this guy. This model 121-1SAD has a single edged blad made of premium steel.
