New Dirac = best Microtech design yet
Outstanding action, both out & return. Microtech made some significant changes to the tolerances where the blade base meets the handle when "out", and throughout the auto motion. Much tighter lockup when blade is extended and retracted, this improves the feel in hand and function far more effectively while cutting, not to mention more safely and securely. Have not handled a higher quality Microtech. I'm a huge fan of the Bohler powder steels, So this is my first experience with a carpenter so this is my first experience with a Carpenter steel, so far it seems as though Microtech made no mistakes in their selection.
