Microtechs Combat Troodon is legit. The Troodon knives are named after the Troodon dinosaur, and this is the biggest knife of the Troodon line by far. Favorited by law enforcement, military, and first responder personal, the combat is made for a close combat situations. We at SRKT have noticed firsthand a disproportionate number of combats being favored by those of the law enforcement community, but don’t let that shy you away from getting your hands on one otherwise. The Combat Troodon is a sight to see and if you haven’t yet, its even bigger than you would expect. However, the ergonomic design, extremely rapid OTF action, and surprising agility make this knife great for everyday carriers.

Ultem is taking the industry by stride. Magnacut steel is also taking the industry by stride. Add these two market-disrupting materials to a Combat Troodon, and you truly have one of the coolest pocket knives we have ever seen at SRKT. The blade on this guy is given a black "sterile" DLC coating, with no markings whatsoever on the blade. Made of CPM-Magnacut, you've got a tool to last a lifetime. The natural Ultem top handle scale is smooth but has a slight texturing, making it not only incredible looking, but practical as well. The Ultem scale allows you to see all of the parts and peices inside your knife. The reverse side scale is a smooth black aluminum to match the pocket clip.
