Likely the most high-quality, oversized OTF auto knives on the market, the Combat Troodon measures up to nearly 10” while open while boasting a 3.8” blade. These things are legit. A favorite of those in law enforcement and the military due to their fast-action OTF mechanism paired with a built-in safety mechanism to stop the blade from firing through anything thicker than a piece of paper. Weighing in at less than 6 oz., the CT is one of those knives that may seem crazy and irrational at first glance, but once you get one in your hand you will quickly understand the hype. Contoured and machined 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum handle scales help the Combat Troodon sit comfortably in your hand, and the ridging in the handle on the sides will help greatly with leverage and balance during use. The Combat Troodon features Microtechs signature snappy OTF action, but may sometimes take a bit more effort to open and close as the knife is so large.
