Special Pro 119
It was in 1902 when Hoyt Buck made his first knife from a worn-out file blade. After the attack on Pearl Harbor, the US government requested blade donations for the military. Ever since he started making them in a church basement in 1942, they've been dialed in for customers specifications. Now his knives come in Brown Canvas Micarta handles and the Premium CPM-S35VN blade steel!
Message from Buck:
"Paul Bos Heat Treat: We are known for our blades. Buck Knives is a market leader in edge retention thanks to our steel selections and heat treat process pioneered by industry famous, Paul Bos, whose heat treating system has proven to be the best in the business. Each blade is put through a rigorous heat treat process and quality performance test. It is then tempered to the appropriate Rockwell Harness through a heating, freezing, and reheating system. This gives you a longer edge life, ease of re-sharpening, and a blade that will not fail you."
