Benchmade's Gold Class always seems to impress. This year, they decided to go with a Norse Mythology-inspired Mini Osborne. One of their most popular models, the Mini Osborne is a sub-3" bladed AXIS lock manual with a perfected design and all of the right details. Of course, being part of the Gold Class, this guy has been given some sizeable upgrades. Starting with the blade, it's got the classic reverse tanto edge shape, but is made of Damasteel, patterned with a brand new design dubbed Aegir, paying homage to Nordic culture. Equipped onto the blade is dual thumb studs as typical, except these ones are anodized aqua blue to match the bolsters. The handle scales are also super impressive, being made of Fat Carbon Fiber with Arctic Blue waves incorporated. To add in just a bit of extra flair, the backspacer has been gold-plated, which typically may not be the most attractive choice, but it just works on this build. Everything tied in together creates an absolutely stunning and unique piece of art which is a part of a limited series. We got just one of these models, and it is serialized number #4453.
