Released in 2017, the Bugout has made waves in the everday carry pocket knife industry. When released, the knife community was shocked by the mixture of tacticallity, simplicity, and weightlessness behind the Bugout. Many knives have hit the market trying to model the classic Bugout by the US-based company, but the Bugout remains near the top of the Mount Rushmore of EDC knives. Incredibly lightweight but featuring high-grade materials to get nearly any job done, the Bugout is a knife everybody should own. If you don’t already, the Benchmade Bugout comes in a large number of handle/blade color combos and materials.

This upgraded 2025 model 535SL-13 model comes with Crater Blue aluminum 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum scales, giving it a smooth feel and an incredible look. The drop point blade is made with CPM-S90V and is Cerakoted with a "Crushed Silver coating for a new "Spring" look. The dual thumb studs and spacers are anodized Turquoise, while the hardware and pocket clip are all black. These look amazing and are up to the task just as much as any other Bugout model. USA made.
