With a secure lockback mechanism, which actually allows you to open the blade with a from the lock itself due to being so smooth, and a round thumb hole for easy Spydie-flicking, the Siren makes for a solid all-around folder. Designed by pro kayak-fisherman Lance Clinton, the Siren is made for fellow water-people. A long and slender desgin, these guys make for a great folding fillet, while the ergonomic handle scales give you tons of leverage. Speaking of the scales, the Siren has an excessive finger-guard, which helps with fill-grip, and doubles as a place to put your finger while choking up a bit. No matter how you use it, the Spyderco Siren is a solidly built and super-reliable USA-made pocket knife with tons of specialties. 

The 2023 Sprint Run C247CFP model of the Siren has a satin finished blade made of CPM S90V steel, known as one of the best edge-retaining and corrosion resistant steels on the market. The handle scales are a rough carbon fiber that allow for super grip. The wire pocket clip is black.
