The Para 3 by Spyderco defines everyday carry. My (Nate) go-to daily carry knife, the shrunken down version of the Para Military 2 comes with a sub-3” blade featuring Spyderco’s classic modified drop point shape. Coming in an abundance of steel selections, there’s sure to be a Para 3 model out there that suits your daily-use needs. The ruggedness of the Para 3 allows for hard use throughout the day, and the open-back design gives you confidence that it won’t be a tough task to clean your knife after you put it through the ringer. Personally, I use my Para 3 nearly everyday to rip apart cardboard boxes and such and it does an incredible job.

A favorite to a majority of knife-nerds, the compression lock mechanism by Spyderco is incredibly easy-to-use and allows your blade to be ready at a moment's instance, and ready to be closed up and put away even faster. Out of the factory, the Para 3 comes smooth-as-heck, and is ready to be Spydie-flicked. You’ll never have to use a second hand when carrying and using your Para 3. A four-position reversible hourglass pocket clip, as well as an incorporated lanyard hole, make these knives the perfect EDC for anyone. Again, these guys come in an abundance of models with different scale materials and finishes, as well as a number of steel choices.

This Spyderco Para 3 comes equipped with state-of-the-art high corrosion and wear resistant CPM S110V stainless steel. A high level of edge-retention also defines this steel as a great beater-steel. The handle scales on this model, with stainless liners nested, are made of G-10 and are finished with an awesome dark Midnight blue, often dubbed “Blurple” as it toes the line between blue and purple. The four-position pocket clip and all hardware on this knife are stainless.
