The Delica 4, the shrunken down Spyderco Endura, is one of Spydercos most beloved models, and is one of the most EDC-able knives they have to offer. At just over 7” while open, with a just-under 3” blade, the Delica 4 features dimensions that many look for, with a super thin handle and weighing next-to-nothing. Refined over the years, these guys comes in a multitude of model options, all ready to tackle the toughest of tasks. With a strong lockback mechanism and equipped with the classic round thumb hole, the Delica 4 is simple and easy to use, but once you put it to the test, you’ll find that it has all the right features that you need in an everyday carry knife.

This model Spyderco Delica 4 is specifically designed to be ready to use in the blink of an eye. Equipped with the well-known Emerson opening feature, essentially a hook curving out of the blade near the thumb hole, this Delica 4 can be opened using just the friction of your pocket. With a simple pull on the handle, while clipped to your pocket, the Emerson wave-tab will catch and allow your blade to fire open on its way to use-position. The Emerson-tab is one of our most requested knife features, for a reason. Additionally, Emerson Delica 4s are constructed in a way, using screws, that makes disassembly, cleaning, and adjusting as easy as ever.

This batch of Delica 4 Emerson’s came super-smooth from the factory. Brand new knives aren’t always Spydie-flickable, but these specific knives certainly are. This is likely due to the phosphor bronze washers, smoothing out the pivot and giving this knife a much more enjoyable action. These models are also given jimping at the spine of the blade, just behind the thumb hole, where you’ll find your thumb resting during use. The handle scales on this knife are Bi-Directional Patterned FRN, giving you supreme grippability. Slight jimping on the spine of the handle give you that little bit of extra comfort while opening boxes and cutting up your dinner.

The satin VG-10 modified drop point blade comes with a high saber grind, giving the edge perfected geometry. The FRN scales are finished with a blue-gray color.
