The hype behind the Pro-Tech Malibu flipper is warranted. An incredibly smooth manual button lock, the Malibu has taken over the knife industry as nearly everybody who gets their hands on one is blown away by its high-quality. While the lock-up on these bad boys is incredibly strong, it only takes a light flick of the flipper tab to get the blade out and ready for use. A nice drop-shut action caused by a press of its perfectly sized and placed button lock, the Malibu makes for the perfect fidget knife, but can step up to the task whenever you’ve got a job to tackle. Due to Pro-Techs unique button lock detent system and their crisp breaking detent release mechanism, the Malibu is one of the smoothest opening flipper knives you’ll find. Made in the USA with a minimalistic and quick-to-clean open-backed design, the Malibu is just ideal as an easy-use manual everyday carry knife. This Pro-Tech Malibu comes equipped with a CPM-20CV blade, finished with a rugged but classy stonewash. With a modified reverse tanto shape, you’ll have no trouble getting all of your daily cutting tasks done throughout the day. These “base” models of the Malibu come with a smooth 7075 aluminum handle with ultimate durability, and this one's handle is finished black. The mini deep carry pocket clip is outfitted for right handed use, is tip-up, and is finished with a black DLC coating. All other hardware including the push button are stainless.
