Everything that goes into making a Pro-Tech knife happens in California, USA. Originally started by a former middle school teacher, David Wattenberg, the company now produces a huge selection of high-quality US-made knives and is one of the world leaders in the manufacturing of automatic pocket knives. The Godson and Godfather by Pro-Tech are Italian stiletto inspired pocket knives with elongated spear point blades and basic-design rectangular handles. All hardware on these knives are centered to the handle, giving them each a look of simplicity, while still allowing you to feel the amount of attention that went in to creating each piece. The big brother of the Godson, the Godfather, is a large-yet-snappy push button auto that will have you feeling like John Wick if he joined the Italian Mob. From over 5” while closed to a lanky 9”+ overall while open, this long and slender stiletto style knife will impress your friends while getting all of your cutting tasks done throughout the day. While the Godfathers do not feature a locking mechanism, as is the case with many of their autos, the lock-up on these guys is very reliable and tight enough that you can feel the blade find its resting place inside the handle. The tip-up pocket clip on the Godsons is tough and reliable, giving you another large EDC-able push button auto by a uber-dependable US-based manufacturer.

Pro-Tech has already introduced a HUGE variety of Godfather models, and continues to impress with new combinations of blade finishes, handle colors, pocket clips, and even unique push buttons (see: Mother of Pearl). This custom Godfather comes with “Del Fuego” anodized aluminum handle scales, depicting flames in a orange, yellow, and redish wavy color mashup. The blade on this model is made of 154CM stainless steel and is finished satin. All hardware on this model is finished stainless. This Italian-inspired large pocket knife is very unique and will surely find a comfortable spot in either your pocket or your collection. This knife is fire.
