Piranha Knives Co. may not be the most well-known knife company out there, but to us, they are severely underrated and make some of the smoothest and hard hitting automatic and out the front pocket knives. A majority of their offerings are side-opening autos, but their line of OTFs are just as impressive. The Rated-R is a slender-designed and lightweight OTF with a whole ton of personality. From the aggressively knurled 6061-T6 aluminum handle chassis, which allows for exceptional grip, down to its titanium pocket clip, the details glow bright with this one. With a jimped face-side slide safety, this is an easy to function out the front that has enough tension in its spring to make it safe to carry. Only once you reach the peak of the button slide does your 3.5" blade come flying from the chassis. Speaking of the chassis, these guys feature handle contouring and enlarged dual-sided finger guards, meaning you can get all the leverage you need when it comes to any cutting tasks. 

The Rated-R features a single edged clip point blade, as opposed to the double-edge blade on the Rated-X. At 3.5" even, you've got more than enough edge to get yourself through the day with this guy as your EDC. This tactical model of the Rated-R, P-19BKT, is all blacked-out, from its 154CM blade to the handle, clip and all hardware.
