Since 1999, Microtech has been refining and perfecting the Ultratech, and nowadays they have some of the best and most reliable OTF action, being easy to both deploy and retract in the blink of an eye. Standard Ultratechs come equipped with a 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum handle chassis, extremely lightweight and pretty basic-shaped, while still having slight contouring so it sits comfortably in your hand. Six total sets of jimping on both spine sides of the handle add to the already superb grippability of the knife, and give you more leverage over the knife while completing your cutting tasks. This is furthered by the aggressively textured thumb slide, another spot that your thumb will naturally find itself during use.

With multiple blade shape options, the Ultratech comes in around 8.35” in total length with a roughly 3.3” blade, plus/minus a slight bit depending on blade style. The Zombietech Signature Series line by Microtech is sick. Spanning multiple models, the Zombietech knives feature green 6061-T6 aluminum handle scales with unique red “splatter” all over. These guys will make you feel like you’re in a post-apocalyptic world taking out walkers, and you haven’t cleaned off your knife since your last takedown. This Signature Series certainly is special, and you’re sure to draw some attention from those around you while using it or showing it off.

This model Ultratech, part of the Zombietech series, is made tactical by Microtech. The tanto edge blade, as well as the tip-down pocket clip and hardware are coated black. The blade is very sterile looking, as Microtech passed on printing the blade steel to go for a cleaner and smoother looking black coated blade. These guys are perfect for hunting down zombies and looking B.A. while doing it. The pocket clip is lasered with “ZOMBIE TECH”.

You’ve probably seen these online, and may have been hunting one down for a while. Now is your chance. These knives do not have a birthday engraved into the clip like most Microtech knives, but is brand new and came into the store December of 2022.
