The standard for most other out the front automatic knives on the market, the Microtech Ultratech sits upon the top of the Mount Rushmore of OTF’s. Since 1999, Microtech has been pumping out Ultratech’s and this has allowed people from all walks of life to try their hands (and pockets) at an out the front pocket knife. The sliding firing button allows the blade to fire in and out of the chassis quickly and automatically, while Microtechs proprietary design allows the firing spring to rest in either open or closed positions, reducing wear and expanding the life span of your knife. The smooth, contoured handle is provenly ergonomic and looks snazzy, too. Adjusted and improved throughout the past two decades plus, the Ultratech is the foundation of the Microtech OTF line and has proven to be reliable to an everyday blade user. Part of Microtech’s Signature Series Star Wars collection, the knives that are a part of the Sith Lord series come with a red coated blade, a partially tri-gripped 6061-T6 aluminum handle, and a pocket clip with “SL” stamped, as well as a unique symbol on both the pocket clip and face of the handle. The 122-2SL Microtech Ultratech Sith Lord has a double edge dagger blade with partial serrations on either side and a black aluminum handle, along with a black pocket clip. The clip also includes the serial number and date of production. These knives really are awesome looking and will fit well on your shelf or in your pocket. As with all of Microtech’s signature series products, this Ultratech comes with an upgraded box.
