The Dirac and Dirac Delta models by Microtech differ from their main-line knives in that the action switch is placed on the face of the handle, rather than the spine. This often makes the blade easier to deploy and retract, especially for those who have limited strength in their thumb, or find that the spine-slide digs into the skin of their thumb a bit much. While it may seem like a small alteration to the design of their knives, we think that it makes a sizeable difference, and that the Dirac line by Microtech is one of their best when it comes to OTFs. 

The Dirac Delta is a beast. Similar in size to the Combat Troodon, but ever so slightly smaller - 0.25" in total length -, these guys are an incredible choice for a larger out the front carry. The handle chassis' on these guys have also been given a bit more contouring than their main-line counterparts, allowing for a better grip and better feel in the hand during use. Jimping is still machined into four different spots on the spines of the handle, placed im the perfect spots for extra leverage and comfort for your fingers. 

This tactical model of the Microtech Dirac Delta has a Bohler M390 stainless steel blade, double-edged as usual, this guy coming with one edge fully serrated, and a 6061-T6 aluminum handle chassis. All of this including the tip-down pocket clip & hardware are coated black, making this big guy look and feel like something out of a movie.
