The Microtech Dirac is perfect for the fan of the OTF who prefers the thumb slide to be on the face. The swap makes the switch a bit more accessible and easy to function. If you’re an everyday Ultratech carrier, the Dirac is certainly something to get used to, but it is certainly worth it. This may be opinionated, but these guys are the perfect size for an everyday carry. Incredibly lightweight due to its 6061-T6 aluminum chassis, you’ll forget you’re carrying the Dirac until you need it, then it’s only the blink of an eye away from being ready.

The handle of these models have been given more of an ergonomic shape than the Microtech Ultratech line knives, giving your fingers more places to rest, and giving the knife a bit more style in design. Six-point jimping on the spine-sides of the handle give you more leverage during use, and the powerful high-tolerance mechanism gives you an OTF knife that’s ready for anything. To add to this knives EDC-checklist, the Dirac comes with a tip-down pocket clip and a ball-tip glass breaker for emergencies.

This Signature Series model Microtech Dirac has got to be one of the coolest they have put out. Completely coated with an olive drab green cerakote camouflage coating, this Dirac is decked-out in camouflage, so make sure not to drop yours in a field. If you’ve got social media, you’ve likely seen the OD green camo cerakoted knives that Microtech has released, and this knife here is certainly one to show off. However, the coating is still strong enough to hold up to everyday use. The blade on this specific model is a double edge dagger style with one edge fully serrated. The tip-down pocket clip, thumb slide, and proprietary Microtech hardware are all finished with an olive green as well. This knife is a must-have.
