This awesome piece, new for 2023, is the beloved Combat Troodon, with upgrades to make it even more practical in an emergency situation. Dubbed the "HS Rescue", this CT comes 100% coated in a bright orange cerakote, ensuring you will never lose your new knife. The next aspect making this a unique carry, is the two-toned blade, orange and satin, that comes fully serrated with a safety/strap cutter incorporated into the tip. While the typical Combat Troodons come with well-placed jimping along the spine sides, this HS Rescue adds to the grippability of this knife, as the bright orange 6061-T6 aluminum handle chassis is given aggressive Frag patterning on either side, making it extremely unlikely that you drop this guy in a fast-paced/high-stress situation. As with all of the Microtech CT's, this guy has the uber-reliable ball-tip glass breaker on the butt of the handle. The only parts on this semi-limited (not a Signature Series piece) that are not bright orange, are the ball bearing of the glass breaker, the Microtech and claw logos on the pocket clip, the stainless tones on the blade, and the logo/DOB/serial number on the blade. If you feel you need a knife in case you find yourself in a drastic emergency circumstance, this Microtech Combat Troodon HS Rescue may be the perfect fit.
