Bastien Coves, lead designer at Bastinelli Creations, along with Anthony Marifone of Microtech, have done something amazing. The Brachial, a mid-sized push button automatic, is a high-functioning tool asking to spend the rest of its life in your pocket. With super-smooth action, a safe-but-easy to use push button, and a perfectly contoured handle, this knife is surely something to behold. Defined by its Persian-style trailing point blade, the Brachial has Italian influence in its design, and is easy to fall in love with. Jimping in all the right places and pristine lines give this knife a feeling of belonging. Personally, the new Brachial has stepped itself into the running as my (Nate) personal favorite knife made by Microtech. For those who like to fidget with their knives, the Brachial is for you, as the balance of this knife allows you to open the knife from different positions, including upside down with your middle finger, without feeling like it will fly out of your hand. With a hefty backspacer and a strong tip-up pocket clip, this guy is an automatic pocket knife that has impressed since its release.

This model Brachial comes with a ¾ fully serrated combo blade, made of Bohler M390 stainless steel. Additionally, the blade is shaped trailing point and is finished stonewash. The 6061-T6 aluminum handle is machined with a patterned grid texture and is finished black. The tip-up pocket clip, push button, pivot, and other screws are all finished with a standard bead blast.
