The Praetorian Slim is another one of Medfords more lightweight and slender-framed models. Simply a shrunken down version of the full sized praetorian, including a super thin frame, these guys still have all the strength and dependability of their full-sized brethren, while being much more pocket and wallet friendly. The Prae Slim always comes with an incredibly tough frame lock lock-up built into its titanium handle, and an open-backed design for easy cleaning. They are given dual-sided blade fullers so that you can open and close your knife all with one hand. The action on the Praetorian Slim is impressively smooth, and after a day of hard-use, you’ll likely find yourself fidgeting with it on the couch. A lanyard hole and pocket clip make it an excellent choice for EDC.

For the star chaser, this Praetorian Slim is incredibly unique. Defined by its “Solar Flare” flamed handle face, this guy is a stunner, having the perfect mix of purple, blue and gold coloring on its scale. It really does look like a star exploded and Medford was able to depict that on a piece of titanium. To bring it a bit more back to earth, this Praetorian Slim is given a black PVD coated CPM S45VN tanto blade as well as a black clip-side scale. The hardware, however, stands out with its awesome bronze finish, matching up well with the Solar Flare face scale.
