The Medford Knife & Tool Tactica Fighting Folder, or TFF-1, has proven itself to be a reliable folding replacement for a strong fixed blade. Large and beefy, but still lightweight enough to be utilized as an everyday carry, these guys come with a 4" blade and a nearly 1/2" thick titanium frame lock handle. Characterized by its super strong lock-up and easy one-hand opening mechanism, the TFF-1 is great for any hard-use tasks that may come your way throughout the day. 

To make this large folder superbly comfortable during use, the handle is designed to offer a couple of great spots for your fingers to rest, including a large "choil" under the blade that actually incorporated the blade, so choking up won't be an issue at all. Jimping all along the spine makes this even easier, as you have several places to gain leverage behind your 0.19" thick blade. 

This specific model of the TFF-1, MK0144VQ-30PV-TFCF-Q4, that we have is absolutely breathtaking. For starters, the CPM-S45VN drop point blade is given a signature Vulcan flamed finish, giving it a unique mixture of color. It's likely that you've seen this finish around online or on social media, but pictures really don't do it justice. To match, the hardware and pocket clip have all been flamed, while the clip was also given a smooth brushing. The titanium handle is blacked out in a DLC coating, perfectly rounding off this incredible piece of artwork.
