The 187DP is a knife that perfectly pairs the beefy tool-style knife designs by Medford with the modern desire for a slim knife that is easily carriable but still packs a huge punch. Coming in at over 9.25” while open, the 187DP is big, but only takes up about 1.25” in width, giving it a long and slim look during use. When closed, the blade sits nicely in the knife’s handle, and the 187DP goes from a heavy-duty tool to a work of art that you might see on somebody’s mantle. These knives just look great from a “lines” perspective. A large 4.25" hollow-ground drop point blade with 3.75” of cutting space gives you more than you need when it comes to tackling the toughest of slicing tasks. The thick titanium scales on the 187DP models are super durable and give you the chonky weight proportions that Medford is known for. This is an amazingly designed 187DP by Medford. To start, the D2 drop point blade as well as the titanium frame are coated with a black PVD to give it the ultimate look of tacticality. To break up the blackout of this model, the face-side of the handle is given a gold lasered “Ghost American Flag” design which is the perfect mix of inconspicuousness and flair. To match the gold, the tip-up pocket clip, large pivot screw, barrel spacers, and all other screws are bronzed. As per usual, this 187DP comes equipped with rugged D2 tool steel.
