Medford Knife & Tool 187 DP - Black PVD Hollow-Ground 4.25" CPM-D2 Drop Point Blade & Faced Silver Titanium Frame Lock Handle - Round Thumb Hole | Made in Phoenix, Arizona USA
Medfords 187 DP model is an incredibly practical large-sized folder. At nearly 9.5” overall with a 4.25” blade, this titanium frame lock knife is created to be a heavy-duty use carry, always coming with an incredibly strong lock up and smooth action. You don’t find many titanium knives with 4”+ blades that you can flick open with one hand, but the Medford 187 DP is one of them. With a relatively thin frame, these guys have an open-backed design for easy clean up after a hard days use, and an elongated thumb hole in the blade for simple operation. An enlarged choil in the blade means you can choke WAY up on this big boy.
This model of the 187DP is amazing in its simplicity. To start, the blade is a CPM D2 steel in a drop point shape with a legit hollow grind. It has been given an awesome black PVD coating for style and protection. Now this black blade matches up SO well with the fully silver faced titanium handle. This almost raw look gives off serious tactical vibes, while still being a bit on the fancy side. The mix of black blade and pocket clip with the shiny silver handle gives off Tuxedo vibes.
