The Gerber Propel auto is a the ideal one-hand operating push button automatic. Made in the USA with some of the highest grade materials on the market, these guys are harder-hitting than the Gerber 06 and have a very ergonomic design when it comes to its handle scales. Contoured near the push button, your fingers comfortable find places to rest during use, and a sharpening choil/blade guard combination give you a small space to choke up on your blade. Additionally, a widened swedge on the spine of the blade gives you a spot for your thumb when you need to really get behind whatever you're slicing up. 

The Propel Downrange is a great option for EDC as it comes with an enlarge push button in case you're wearing gloves, and an easy to operate plunge-lock safety switch to ensure a tight lock-up. Add to that a three-position reversible pocket clip, a lanyard hole, and a pommel, and the Gerber Propel Auto becomes an easy daily driver pocket knife. 

This model of the Gerber Propel, 30-000717, comes with a black oxide coated tanto edge blade made of CPM S30V steel with partial serrations. The handle scales are a G-10 composite and have been dyed desert tan. The pocket clip and pommel are finished black.
