Chemex Classic Series 3-Cup Coffee Maker w/ Original Rawhide Leather Tie & Polished Collar - FP-2 Half-Moon Filters Not Included

Truly, we adore Chemex here at SRKT. Just about every morning, we're brewing up some freshly ground coffee in our Classic Series 8-Cup Chemex. To many, a pour-over may not be worth the additional time and effort it takes over a traditional drip coffee maker, but to us, everything from the experience to the taste of the coffee make using one of these guys totally worth it. I (Nate) can say with confidence that I am unlikely to buy and use another coffee maker other than a Chemex. 

What makes Chemex stand out from other pour-overs are their impeccable design. Made of non-porous glass, they never absorb odor or chemical residues. Once brewed, coffee can be covered and refrigerated for reheating without sacrificing too much flavor (we do this all the time, and it's true). Another one of our favorite characteristics about our Chemex is the ease of cleaning it. A simple rinse will suffice after most brews, and after a handful, we will of course wash with soap and a handled sponge brush. When coloring starts to build up at the base, we use a Chemex Cleaning Solution bottle, and it comes out looking brand new. Alternatively, take off the wooden handle and leather tie and pop the bad boy in the dishwasher. Things like this are just a few reasons why using a coffee maker from Chemex is completely worth it. 

Here, we have the solo-drinkers dream, a 3-cup pour over Classic Chemex Coffeemaker. Producing one pint of coffee, these guys produce just the right amount for someone who likes to have a few cups in the morning. This original CM-1C model comes with an original Rawhide Leather Tie and a polished wooden collar. Use Chemex Bonded Unfolded Half Moon Filters (FP-2, FP-2N), none are included with this Chemex.
