This Sport Pro version of the Buck 112 Folding Ranger bridges the gap between modern pocket knife technology and the original 112's that our grandfathers carried. These guys are about 35% lighter than their original counterparts, having their handles made with a more lightweight aluminum, being inlayed with an even more lightweight canvas micarta. To make this knife even easier to carry, they are given right-handed tip-up deep-carry pocket clips, something we've been pleading Buck to attach to the OG 112s. Now, you should have no issue carrying one of these beefy boys in your pocket throughout the day. To make the function of the Ranger a bit easier, Buck equipped the GRS5 models with big ol' dual thumb studs, making it a one-hand opener for days. They are still given the original sturdy lockback mechanism. If you've always wanted to carry a Buck 112 like your father or his father did, but could never quite grasp the sheath/nail nick opener combination, here's your chance. These knives really are legit. 

This model of the Buck 112 Sport Pro, 0112GRS5, has OD green canvas micarta inlays. The satin finished blade is made of CPM S30V steel, while the pocket clip has been given a black cerakote coating.
