Brand new for 2022, the Benchmade Redoubt is a lightweight, mid-sized folding pocket knife featuring Benchmades signature ambidextrous AXIS lock. Made with self-defense and outdoor utility work in mind, the Redoubt is similar to the Griptilian, outfitted with CPM D2 tool steel and a textured grippy green inlay in its smooth gray grivory handle scales. The handle design seems simple at first, but once this knife is in your hand you’ll realize how much went into making this knife, as it features great ergonomics and perfectly placed handle jimping, which when combined with its texture inlay, provides ultimate grip during use. The strong and slicey drop point blade is finished with a gorgeous cobalt black/gray cerakote finish, giving this knife the ultimate look of utility. One thing we’ve noticed about the Redoubt is that the manual action is incredibly smooth. Supremely easy to open, and coming out of the factory with an impressive blade drop release close-up, this knife is ready for use right away. To make this knife lovable by everyone, it also comes with a black tip-up reversible, and deep carry, pocket clip. The AXIS lock and all of the rest of the hardware including the dual thumbstuds, are finished black.
