The Casbah is another beloved push button automatic coming out of Benchmade. With an enlarged and ridged push button, it’s incredibly easy to have your knife ready for use while carrying the Casbah, especially considering its snappy, yet smooth action. Safety is not an issue, however, as these models feature an super-strong face-side slide safety mechanism that is easy to find with your finger and gives a comforting “click” sound to confirm that your knife is either locked-up or ready for firing, and when your knife is locked, the button doesn’t even think about budging.

The black grivory handle is given textured ultra-grippy inlays to ensure the snappy automatic knife will stay in your hand at all times. Additionally, the handle comes with ridging just above and below said-inlays, right where you will often find your finger the most during everyday carry. The handle is also given a sizeable but inconspicuous lanyard hole. A semi-open back design makes cleaning out your knife as easy as ever. Compressed air is a knife-nuts best friend. During use, you’ll find jimping in the perfect spots on the handle, giving you superb ease-of-use.

Equipped with CPM-S30V steel, known for having incredible edge-retention, the Casbah is an EDC-ers dream come true; not to mention the blade comes with a drop point shape, perfect for slicing open boxes and such. This model Casbah, 4400SBK, comes with a partially serrated blade, further adding to its versatility.

Attached to the rugged grivory handle on the Casbah is a gray coated tip-up pocket clip, designed for deep-carry, that can be reversed for left-handed carry. The slide safety, pivot, and other hardware/screws are finished black, while the push button is a standard stainless finish on these incredible automatic knives. The Casbah may not be the most well-known knife that Benchmade has to offer, but it sure is up there in its capabilities and impressiveness.
